yay!
Remember I mentioned in my previous post that I can't type chinese characters on my laptop? I'm overjoyed right now! I finally changed to the correct language and now I can type freely in chinese whenever I want on my laptop! WHOO!

我终于可以用我的电脑打华语字体了！
真的无法想像我在新传媒实习已经有大概三个礼拜左右了。其实，我觉得工作环境是蛮好的。虽然说同事们会偶尔诉苦，但这是每个公司都会有的现象。这也当然比我以前在圣淘沙工作来得好。
既然自己以后打算进入媒体界，那这次的实习一定会帮助我先铺一道路。很多人都不知道其实在媒体界工作会要用到非常多的机器或仪器，所以当他们真正踏入媒体界时，都会感到有点措手不及。还好我不算是那些会对机器感到抗拒的人，所以还觉得蛮顺利的。
希望以后毕业之后，能够加入CNA,因为我觉得自己能更加擅用英语来表达其中一些含义。
我想，如果再读我的搏客的你是我认识的朋友，大概你已经知道我在新传媒的<早安您好>实习吧。但其实我没有告诉很多人，可能只有小猫一两只知道吧。

Of course some of you may not want to or know how to read the chinese characters above. But well, it's for some of my friends to read only so yup, you can skip the whole part actually.

I'm kind of worried about the community spread of the H1N1 virus in Singapore. Just within a matter of days, the total number of confirmed cases have increased to over 600. This is a little scary because you have no idea when or where it'll hit you or the people around you.

And of course, the most recent breaking news that is somehow affecting the emotions of millions of people around the globe is the death of the famous pop singer Michael Jackson. This "King of Pop", fondly known as, suffered a cardiac arrest in his home in Los Angeles days ago. People from all over the world, have been mourning over his death and some have prepared small funerals for him wherever they were in the world. And although I'm not a great fan of Michael Jackson, I cannot dispute the fact that his music was one which no other person in this world can reproduce. Probably, I would agree that in the later part of his life, his face was damaged by the chemicals used in the surgeries he underwent and partly by his misuse of drugs, to the point where I think it was rather hideous. But taking his poor health into consideration, I think his sudden death may in fact be a blessing in disguise because if he indeed went ahead with the 50 concerts as planned, his health may deteriorate even more quickly and cause him more pain than before. So I guess we could only pray that he'll rest in peace and that legendary pop king in him will remain in the hearts of all his fans.

不知何故，我家里的电脑不能够打华语字体。现在是在办公室里blog的。所以现在在乐。哎，真是的！
因为我是在华文新闻部做工，所以比较容易用到software. hmm.
I don't know what to blog on actually. I mean it's weird to blog on what I do you know.
Ok, maybe I can blog on the dj course I attended recently.
Then again, there's not much to talk about.

I haven't been updating my blog properly for so long. Time to do some justice to my dear blog i suppose.

I did my nails myself the other day! :) And for once, it's perfect.

Rare. Because I usually go for manicures instead. And actually, I went for another manicure and pedicure at Monsoon on friday. But I have not uploaded the photos of my nails yet. It's not bad. But too bad Kenzo isn't with them anymore if not I'll get more sophisticated nail art. My current one is just simple and sweet.

This is the one I did myself.

Also, I read this good book from the library. It's a chinese book actually. Teaching how you should read and break up your sentences so that it'll be presented in a pleasant way when reading and eventually capture the attention of the audience:)

Next up! I went lunching with qingyue at the fast food restaurant outside Jurong BirdPark.

By fast food, I don't mean macdonalds nor kfc nor long john silvers nor mos burger.

It serves food somewhat similar to swensens.

And I took some photos of the swans and ducks just outside the restaurant.

So elegant and cute!

OOOHH that reminds me. I went out with desiree, sienmae and mingxi. We went to coffee club and had our individual orders before getting a sinful MUDPIE!!

Last but not least, I've been going to work (internship actually) everyday on weekdays.

And on the way out from my workplace, there's this whole lane of bungalows.

I met this cute and sweet cat the other day so I decided to catch a photo of it. HEHEE.

Not a very clear photo because the weather was crazy. The sweltering heat can kill.

I owe my dear friends visiting my blog an explanation right? I haven't updated properly at all till today. And still, I think this is a rather tardy post. Anyway, I've been going to work from monday to friday for the past 2 weeks. And I have to reach mediacorp by 5.30am. Then when I get home, there's not much time and I've been having writer's block for the last few days.

This whole week I don't think I'm updating. Because I'll be there from 5.30am. And I'll be staying till about 10pm? If I really do update, it'll be super short posts and done in the office.

I woke up to swollen eyes 2 weeks ago i just remembered. I have totally no idea why. But luckily it went off in a few days. Haha. But the feeling was horrible.

Anyway, work's been good. Well, at least I feel that I'm enjoying it. I hope they'll let me do gms for the entire 3 months. :) I believe it's more fun than the others. And because I prefer waking up in the early early morning too. But oops. Today something happened. I was like thinking "oh shit" when it happened.

I really miss ballet. sigh. But the class has started and it's like so wasteful if I join back the class now because I would have paid full amount yet attend 2 less classes. Boo hoo. But then again I think i'll only have time to do it like now because once school starts I have a feeling that it's going to be crazy schedules.

I'm so going to the gym next week. Yes. Maybe I should go everyday next week. good idea?

Today's a sunday and guess what? I'm bored.

Much better than the previous workplace I feel.

I have no idea why I feel like i've run out of things to blog nowadays.
Nothing comes to mind whenever I start blogging.
HORRIBLE.

Anyway, I have something to look forward to at the end of the month. :D

Today's my official first day of my internship! :D:D:D
I guess those who know me well probably know where I'm interning already.
Okay. It's been good although it's not super busy that kind.
But that said, there's actually a lot of things to learn and familarise.
And it's nice mingling around with the colleagues.
They're nice and friendly and just fun to be around with.
I'm looking forward to getting to know more of them. :)

Oh and then after work I went to an MP meet the people session to help with letter writing.

Okay there's not much to blog about now. I'm going to read.

Woohoo! I finally got a perfume for myself. After saving for quite a long period of time, I decided not to spend a huge part of it on one that is overly expensive yet it needs to have a proper brand so that I do not end up smelling stinky instead.
So, I got myself a BURBERRY perfume. It's not very big but I guess it's worth the money spent. I paid $33.90 for it. Don't you think it's a bargain? I wanted very much initially to get the PRADA one from SaSa but it costs $98. Goodness gracious.
Anyway, I got a top from Cotton On and it's just $5! :D
And another top or can be used as dress from Mjphosis. It's $17.80 after discount.
I LOVE GSS! Will show more photos of the clothes I bought as soon as I take photos of them and upload them here.
Oh by the way, if you do notice from the photos, my fingernails are done again. I did them myself this time!
I was lazy to travel to novena. But I will soon because I need to utilise the package.

Okay, more stuff from magazines which I doubt I'll have money to buy but it's worth a glance because they're really pretty. To repeat, I'm not buying them. I'm just sharing with you some items which are pretty. Please don't get the wrong idea.

Life is just starting to get all hyped up next week. By that, I actually mean busy. I'm excited that I'm going to be busy. I'm not being weird. I'm just happy. I can't wait for work to start on monday. It's actually sort of an internship, trainee attachment to be exact. I don't think it's convenient to divulge which company it is here. But well, the first letter starts with M. That's all I can say.

Just last night, it's confirmed that singapore has 14 cases of h1n1 cases. Certain countries like australia seem to be quite badly hit by the virus too. :(
Let's all be prepared for a serious outbreak.

Haven't really been meeting up with friends except for mingxi and qingyue. I guess my timings do not coincide with my other friends' free time. Oh well. Maybe next time I guess.

I don't understand why people write blogs to "shoot" others so directly.
It makes no sense.
Makes my blood boil.
That should obviously not be the reason of writing his/her blog posts.
On the other hand, I don't really bother because I'm not going to do such insensitive things.
I just hope the beautiful people around continue in their beautiful ways and not fall into that bottomless pit.

Yay, I'm starting my internship aka trainne attachment next monday! I can't wait though it spells a busy schedule. But I believe I'll enjoy being a busy bee:)

I just read a blogpost by addy. It's really meaningful. The one about the true meaning of writing blogs.
I feel exactly the same way as him. No one should criticise another person outrightly, especially on blogs. No one has the right to do so. And you see, although I do post some of the things I buy and all that, I don't say something that costs a high price to be cheap and sorts, you get what I mean. There's seriously no point in flaunting. Everyone started from status quo.
And I don't like it when people start being rude in their comments on their blog. It's infuriating. Really.
Like hello. Although it may be your own personal blog, you shouldn't scold others rude names when they ask you questions and such.
Addy is really one of the most humble personalities whom I know. No matter how much he is earning from his salons, he still cares about people around him. And his wonderful personality exudes warmth to the people around. Not forgetting charity work too. There's one coming up. Love Can't Wait Fashion Show on 8th June 2009 at 7.30pm. It's at Tampines 1.

I think I've been doing much these days although uol exams are over.
And I'm thinking quite a lot too.

On a side note, I can't wait for a particular course coming up at the end of the month! Mingxi! I know you can't wait too! :D
