CAIRNS, Australia - Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and conservationist known as the “Crocodile Hunter,” was killed Monday by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef. He was 44.
Irwin was at Batt Reef, off the remote coast of northeastern Queensland state, shooting a segment for a series called “Ocean’s Deadliest” when he swam too close to one of the animals, which have a poisonous bard on their tails, his friend and colleague John Stainton said.
“He came on top of the stingray and the stingray’s barb went up and into his chest and put a hole into his heart,” said Stainton, who was on board Irwin’s boat at the time.

OMG!! I really can't believe this actually happened. He's one of the conservationists that i was looking forward to working with for so long. How can this ever happened. I'm really really sad because of this because i'm also a person who really loves animals. Well, at least he died doing his favourite work. Steve, no matter where u r now, I believe your "Steve Irwin's Spirit" will keep all the reowned naturalists and conservationists going for many many generations to come. It's a real pity that you are no longer here to see through the conservation programs all around the world. Pls rest in peace. Kaiting loves you.

TEACHERS' DAY!

Yesterday were the celebrations.. we had mass yoga display. actually, to say the truth, it was quite cool.. arghh! i left my cap in a classroom.. 4got to take.. dunoe..monday go sch see if still there anot. haizz.

Then after settling all the teachers' day pressies in JJ, I went off with my friends back to RV. hahas, I felt really happy deep down in my heart to be able to talk to so many of my ex teachers. they're really nice. But its just sad to see that not all my ex- teachers are there. Its like something is INCOMPLETE. sighx. but i'll try to find time meet up with them. Den my exclassmates and I went to a hawker centre in tanglin to eat. Hmm, the food there wasn't exactly veh nice but it just feel like the good old times eating with them. After that, went to JP with qing yue for some dessert..saw pear, hoong n jerms there. they were going to watch movie. sighs, had to go for tution in evening, so rejected my sec sch friends who asked me to watch movie. next time bah!

how i wish promos will be over soon. but at the same time, i wanna do well lah. so I MUST WORK HARD!! any 26th peeps reading?? take note of the caps!! MUST WORK HARD! JIA YOU! hahhas..
