After 2 months of planning and preparations, orientation 2007 finally arrived! :)

Admin Day 1 (3rd jan 2007)
Admin Day 1 was the usual typical boring stuff for the campers. Poor things. For the whole admin day, I only had to usher mr jega to his tamil MT talk and to dance for mass dance. So it was in a way quite relaxing for me. Last year we had 2 admin days. I remember actually for that 2 days, I was trying so so hard to keep awake to listen to the important talks. But the sleeping spell seemed to be never-ending. Huisi had to feed me sweets to keep me awake.

Camp Day 1 (4th jan 2007)
WOOHOOS!!! Camp day 1 is finally here! We had mass dance for almost 5 hrs at one shot! Gosh! it was super fun but it was also tiring for our legs. After that, I had to prepare for my beloved songsinging. Deco was being put up while I checked to make sure that there was no error with my slides. After discussion, they finally confirmed the sequence of the songs with me. Songsinging was a blast with Christina, Benja and Bryan emceeing. Mr Tan even commented that the songsinging semmed like JJ NITE. COOL! It's an honour for me to do songsinging. Knowing that this would be my last songsinging, I put in my all for the slides. Though I did not control the slides perfectly as I was a little nervous and didn't know what impromptu changes the emcees would make. During both sessions, I managed to look around at where the campers and OGLs were sitting. It really reminded me of the songsinging session I attended as a camper myself when I first came to JJ. It was really a sweet memory. As I scanned through the whole LT5 while controlling the slides, tears just flowed uncontrollably down my cheeks. I could remember exactly what I felt during my first songsinging. Though this year's songsinging seem to have made less campers cry, I'm sure it has made an impact on them and left a deep impression.
